Small animal ortho training in Chennai

The Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai is organizing a national level training course on “Advances in Small Animal Orthopaedics and Anthroscopy.” The course will be held from Feb 5-14, 2008. Dr Gert Breur, PhD, ACVS, professor of Small Animal Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, Purdue University, USA, will be the international expertise for the training programme.

Visionary Vet – 2008…honouring vets

The House of Natural Remedies, Bangalore, recently announced an award for dynamic veterinarians from across the country – Visionary Vet – 2008. It is one of the several efforts undertaken by Natural Remedies to showcase the strengths and inspirations of vets across the country. The first ‘Visionary Vet Award’ will be presented at the Research and Development Centre of Natural Remedies Pvt Ltd, Bangalore. A jury of eminent personalities will judge the entries and select the recipient for this. All nominations must be received by March 15, 2008.
