Zydus Animal Health Ltd, Ahmedabad recently organised a technical seminar on pet nutrition in Jammu. Dr Arun Atrey, Managing Director of Zydus AHL emphasised the importance of the nutritional requirements of pets and the limitations of the homemade food. The seminar was well attended by leading pet practitioners, veterinarians and academicians from Jammu.
The seminar was followed by product launch of ‘Petz Home Food Plus’ – a complete nutritional supplement with 26 essential nutrients especially for the pets, fed on home-made food.

A summer splash pool party was organized at PetSitters, a pet resort in Pune. It was aimed at children between the age group of 6 and 14 years to come and enjoy some pool activities with their pet. The event started off with pets just cooling off the summer heat by splashing around and making sure their owners also get wet in the process. Treats and toys were the call of the hour. Then there were some games where the pets had to make their owners proud by swimming the fastest laps.
The event ended with a one-on-one session by Shalaka, the owner, to the kids on how to dry their pets, basic grooming tips, importance of grooming and how their pets just love all the extra attention coming from the kids. Refreshing treats for everyone awaited post the event.

Bayer Animal Health creates awareness
about ‘Canine Vector Borne Diseases’
Bayer Animal Health has taken different initiatives to give more focus on creating awareness in the field of pathogens and transmitters of canine diseases. One such initiative is organizing technical seminar on “Canine vector born diseases (CVBD) – An Indian scenario” for pet practitioners of different parts of India. As a part of this activity, Bayer, Companion Animal Product Division organized CVBD seminar at Delhi recently. The seminar was attended by 25 leading veterinary practitioners from Delhi and its neighbouring area. Dr M L Gatne, Professor of Department of Parasitology, Bombay Veterinary College was the invited speaker for the event, who gave an elaborate presentation on the said topic.
