New dog salon and boutique in Pune

Pooches in Pune are in for some pampering! Veterinarian Dr Lochana Baney has tied up with German dog shop Gordon – Der gepflegte Hund to start a dog skin and coat care centre, Gordon-Just FUR Dogs, which opened in December 2011 at Wanowrie, Pune. In addition to grooming services, the outlet has in-house veterinarians to treat skin and coat conditions. It also sells dog accessories, treats and grooming products. Gordon believes in natural grooming methods and the products used in the salon are all 100 percent non-toxic and 90 percent biodegradable. As a special introductory offer, Gordon is hosting an open week from 16-20 January 2012, when pet parents can bring their pets along to visit the store and meet the staff and get 20 percent discount on all services during the week and will also receive a discount voucher that can be redeemed during future visits.
