2nd Edition of PETEX India

Hosted by HITEX and The Hyderabad Canine Club, the 2nd edition of PETEX India has recently been organised at Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. Pet parents, pet lovers, pet products, pet foods, services and pet entertainment came together at one place during the two-day pet industry exposition. More than 500 dogs of 60 plus breeds and around 100 cats were present at the HYCAN Championship Dog Show and CFAI International Cat Show. Exhibitors at the exposition showcased arrays products and activities related to pet food, accessories, medicare, breeders and training. Dog-Lovers Meet at New Delhi

A Dog-Lovers Meet was recently held at Kashmir Education Society School in Pamposh Enclave in New Delhi. Speakers at the meet included Dr Anandi Lal , MD (Psychiatry), AIIMS; Deepti Sharma and Virender Kumar Sharma, life members of Kennel Club of India (KCI) and Dr KRG Nair, former Dean, Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Delhi. Prof ML Pandit, a senior academic and former professor of English at University of Kashmir chaired the meet.

The INDI Dogathon

Conceived by AWE Entertainment partners (Shwe t a Sanjiv and Parikshit Das), The Bengaluru Dogathon was started in Bengaluru in 2015 in which pet parents walked with their pets. The event further enthralled its audience in Bangalore in 2017 with fest activities, games, pet competitions, entertainment shows, music games, expert talks and many more. Now the event has changed its name to ‘The INDI Dogathon’ as the organisers want to make it a pan-India affair. The first season of The INDI Dogathon in 2018 will start from Guwahati (Assam), then to Goa, Pune and closing in Bengaluru.
