One of a Kind Travel Tale!

Heaven on Earth—a trip to Leh-Ladakh—more than 4000 km, a road trip, the mystical mountains, and two gorgeous Golden Labradors!

It all started one evening and promised it by mistake to Happy that we will go to Leh- Ladakh with Guggu and Breezer. Time flowed like a river flows and years passed. We lost Breezer, but I had it in my heart to go for that promised road trip.

Finally we took the plunge and were ready for the journey.
With the tips and tricks shared by Dr Jasjeet Josan Neelam Singh Josan (without whom it would have not been possible), we very easily managed to have them at the best of their age and condition.
Hen mom
Being a hen mom, without a doubt my wife carried oxygen cylinders, sweators, blankets and at least a kilo of medicines but touchwood, we didn’t need any of it. Our first day was a bit tiring, but driving in the plains we covered a distance of about 800 km with a few stops. Got a night stay at a small hotel!
Beauty beyond words
The next morning, after a good night’s sleep and with fingers crossed we started early morning. We drove via Srinagar to Leh. The beauty of India is beyond words and I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity.
Heaven on Earth
Finally reached heaven on earth and made the most of the vacation. Both the babies enjoyed a lot. Happy has had travel experiences in the past. But I and my wife were amazed to see Guggu. At –2OC as the first ever in her life, we found her jumping, running, enjoying the most of life.
We covered numerous beautiful places on the trip. From Changla to Pangong Lake (3 Idiots point), Magnetic Hill to Nubra Valley, Khardungla till Leh/Ladakh and Gulmarg, Sonmarg, (Jammu & Kashmir).
