Waggy New Year gifts

The festive season is the perfect time to let your loved ones know how special they are to you. Then your furry baby is on the top of your list! Here’s a list of items wherefrom you can pick up a waggy New Year gift for your pooch.

Every year, I get my dog Sara many presents that I think are awesome. But for once, I decided to sit back, and reflect on what she would love to have. Here’s what Sara would recommend! Sara says while making the following list of her favourite items.

WOBBLER
I’m a smart dog! I need some entertainment, I love my toys but sometimes I need more than just a simple ball. Something more engaging perhaps! So, for the love of food and toys, I present to you *drum rolls* Wobbler- a Kong-shaped food dispensing toy and feeder that sits upright until pushed with a dog’s paw or nose, then dispenses treats as it wobbles, spins and rolls. The unpredictable movement keeps the toy challenging and fun, and me entertained and happy as I get little treats every now and then! I am drooling, already.

COSY BED
The floor is cold. Plus, if you don’t want me to share your bed, thenplease give me a place that I can call mine! I need a place to snuggle, and to keep warm. A big bed that allows me to sprawl out or curl up is awesome.

FLEXI LEASH
Who doesn’t want a little freedom, especially when you are out on a walk and sniffing the flowers? The Flexi leash gives just that. This awesome leash allows you to stretch up to five meters away. You can put the brake on at any point and lock it. Nice huh? YES!

WINTER JACKET
With the winter coming in, it’s getting cold! Grrrrr..! Because I’m domesticated, I can’t deal with the cold winter like my wild pals can, especially if I have a short coat, and I would love something that would keep me warm and cosy. The jackets at Heads Up For Tails are super comfortable and adjustable so I can still roll, sit, lay around and have some fun!

HARNESS
Walks are my favourite part of the day! To smell the flowers and sniff all the scents of the earth- aah! But what’s not fun is when you tug at my collar every now and then. It hurts and can damage my neck over time. Harnesses are a great alternative to collars as they spread the pressure across the body instead of it being concentrated on the neck. Besides, it makes me look all fabulous!
