Atia Mathai, who is already a pet parent of her kitty Felix, spotted a blind cat on the street of Chennai. She took him home to keep Felix company. She named him ‘Rajah’ as he sat calmly on a stool like the Lion King on his second day in the house. In the first place, Felix wondered why Rajah didn’t respond to body language. Then they worked it out beautifully, playing rough-and-tumble. Atia tied a bell on Felix in order to make it a level playing field and avoid any ‘surprise pouncing’ to Rajah. Today, Rajah’s favourite game is football that contains a bell inside.
