PPAM organises Meet the Industry Seminar-3

PPAM held its event–Meet The Industry-3 on 25th December 2011. Dr Mohan Wani was the key note speaker for ‘Application of stem cell research in companion animal practice’. PPAM Diary and Directory 2012 was inaugurated by Dr Vaishali Bhat, Influencer Manager, Asia Distributor Markets, P&G Pet Care and also the chief guest, she said, ““The pet industry in India is estimated to grow with an annual growth rate of 10-15 percent. We at P&G Pet Care believe in delivering the best to this pet industry. Apart from the new product innovation we believe that education and influencer are one of the keys in scope. I would re-enforce that the industry together with the influencer needs to work more closely as a team.”

Dr Yash Goyal, Director, Pfizer Animal Health, South Asia; spoke on behalf of Pfizer, who was the main sponsor for the event . More than 140 PPAM members participated in the event. PPAM announced its inaugural award for most valuable contribution 2011 to Dr C C Wakankar from PPAM President Dr Sunita Patel. PPAM held cricket matches between Practicing Vets and Industry Members; it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
