KPS way to safe car travel with you pooch
- Never let your dog sit in your lap.
- Don’t let your dog sit in the front seat as he can distract the driver by climbing onto his lap or might interfere with easy access to gear/brakes.
- The front passenger seat has airbag and your dog can be injured in case of any mishap.
- Use a crate or pet carrier for your pooch.
- Secure the crate so that it cannot flip forward in case of sudden stop.
- If there is no space for crate, use a dog seat belt available at pet stores.
- Install a pet barrier to keep the dog in the back seat.
- If you use a leash, it should be long enough to let the pet sit, stand or lie down.
- Always keep the windows up.
- Use air-conditioner in summers to avoid heatstroke.
- How cute it may look, never allow your dog to peep out of the window.
