National Animal Protection Awards presented at IFA 2012

The Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO) presented The INDIA FOR ANIMALS 2012 (IFA) awards for exemplary contributions to the animal protection movement in India. The winners this year are – Outstanding Services to Animals Award presented to Avis Lyons and the Outreach for Animals Award given to World Society Protection for Animals (WSPA) and Vasanthi Kumar, Stray Relief and Animal Welfare (STRAW) and the Volunteer Relations Award went to Nilesh Bhanage from Plant and Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S), Thane.
