WE STAND TOGETHER IN THESE TOUGH TIMES!

Finding the silver linining in the corona cloud, the pandemic is beyond words, beyond comprehension and beyond borders. We all are trying to adjust to the new normal, but at the end of the day, what is truly important is love, kindness and connect. Through the struggles we embrace, the only thing which brings a smile forever is ‘love’, who else better understands ‘love’ than our four-legged furry friends? The love they show us and shower upon us is beyond compare and again beyond words. It is in these times again of pandemic, lockdown, quarantine, isolation, social distancing… Sparkle again was truly missed. It is the love, spark, bonding which connects us all.
Among the chaos, it was heartening to see a lot of selfless and dedicated people who went out of their way to feed hungry and helpless strays and animals, a benevolent act of kindness. Veterinarians all over the country and the world work as brave hearts in these tough times to wage a war against the dreaded COVID-19, protecting our beloved four-legged friends and keeping them healthy.
Ever since the early days of COVID-19 outbreak worldwide and its onset in India at an alarming level, there have been rumours that dogs and cats can spread the virus. We have heard stories of a number of pets being abandoned heartlessly. As per guidelines published by World Health Organization (WHO), main transmission of COVID-19 occurs only person-to-person. So far, there is no proven record of companion animals spreading the virus. It’s rightly said that your pets transmit only love and not virus.
Now is the time to act responsibly and not be a victim to false news and rumours. Stay home, stay safe. Utilise this time pawsitively with your darling pet. Talk, spend time together, just curl up to them—you will feel all your stress fly away. Banish the blues, be positive and be you. Be kind and Be safe—we are all in it together—solidarity in these tough time.
