Pet Practitioners Association Mumbai (PPAM) is organising the ‘Meet the Industry-13’ on 19th December 2021 at Hotel Express Inn, Ghodbunder Road, Thane. Dr Dhananjay Bapat, President, Pet Practitioners Association of Mumbai (PPAM), requests all the PPAM members and vet friends to attend the event with prolific sessions.
A very warm welcome and invite to all the delegates at the ‘Meet the Industry-13’ event. We are grateful to all the eminent and world-class speakers for consenting to share their experiences and guide an audience comprising leading vets across the country. Equally, it is an immense honour to publish our customary PPAM Directory + Diary 2022 during the event.

Don’t let pandemic hold us back!

There have been challenging times for everyone. But the global pandemic did not hold us back as we sprung to action as things began to open slowly. We were at forefront of not only upgrading our clinical skills and knowledge but also being mindful of our social obligations. The wholehearted support and enthusiastic participation by PPAM members contributed immensely to the success of a slew of activities conducted over the last year.

A continuing journey ahead

Going beyond webinars and continuing education events, we conducted a mass anti-rabies campaign, nutritional support, treatment and flood relief. It is with a great sense of pride that we would like to acknowledge the passion and dedication of the PPAM management committee. The coming together of youth and experience has infused great energy in taking ahead of the immense wisdom and farsightedness of our founding members. We remain indebted to our founding members for their continuing support, guidance and blessings as we continue their journey ahead. We take this opportunity to thank our corporate partners for their support and generosity over the years and we hope to continue this meaningful association with them for years to come.

Return of live events

We are hoping that slowly but surely the world is going to open for live events. We, in turn, should demonstrate COVID appropriate behaviour including taking a complete dose of vaccines and encouraging and influencing others to do the same.

Making a better world

Since the beginning of PPAM, back in 1997, it has been an eventful journey and PPAM is strengthened every year by support from all of you. We promise to make it a better world for all our companion pets. Here’s wishing all the readers a Healthy and Prosperous 2022!
