Royal Canin continues to drive scientific thought leadership as the Knowledge Partner at 3rd successive Indian Annual Congress for Veterinary Dermatology organized by the Indian Association for Veterinary Dermatology (IAVD).

IAVD a full member of World Association for Veterinary Dermatology successfully organized International Continuing Veterinary Education & Symposium on One Health Promotion Through Skin Health: Advancing Skin Health in Animals Through Enhanced Dermatological Care for veterinarians and veterinary students. The congress included -training workshop on Diagnostic Priorities & Plans in Small Animal Dermatology followed by the series of the enriching and engaging sessions from renowned Board Certified Small Animal dermatologist including Prof. Dr Rosanna Marsella from the University of Florida, USA, and Prof. Dr Sheila M.F. Torres from the University of Minnesota covering the approach to diagnosis and management of most prevalent clinical conditions like Hormonal disorders affecting skin & coat conditions, Adverse Food reaction in pets and Canine Atopic Dermatitis.

Held at Novotel Dona Sylvia Beach Resort, Goa, the three-day event, from 7th June – 9th June, featured Dr. Vishal Dangle, Scientific Communication Manager, Royal Canin, delivered a talk on the ‘Nutritional Solution in Derma Cases’where he emphasized on the importance of the dietary management and specific prescription diets available for different types of the dermatological conditions.
