We were looking to adopt a feline friend and saw an ad with the cutest little orange furball which took my breath away. I contacted the person and bam – rest as they say is history! There he was, our tiny but fierce Muffin. What surprised me was that the moment he entered the house and I opened the crate door, he got out and started exploring the apartment. He is always ready to play and loved to cuddle when he was tiny. Now, after two years, he is like a teenager who will only show us affection when he wants something. He knows he has us wrapped around his adorable paws.

Gratitude in every pawprint

When I first got Muffin, there was a lot of turbulence in my life. His playful presence gave me new hope and helped me thrive in those times. I will forever be grateful that I sent that message and got him home adds Ameya.

From paws to heart

Says Shreya, “When I came to Sweden, Muffin was already a year old. I have always loved animals and when Ameya got him as a kitten I had major FOMO. But I was so glad he did that because he became my first friend in a foreign land that felt nothing like home.

I taught him tricks and he started to feel safe around me quickly. We bonded over afternoon naps, endless treats, and watching TV at home. He has seen highs and lows with us. I feel so blessed to have him as he is such an easy pet and gets along well with all our friends to look after him when we are away. Our life has gotten so much more meaningful after getting Muffin.”
