First ever Indian VETopia 2017 organised at Gurgaon

National Veterinary Foundation (NVF) has recently organised the first Indian VETopia 2017 and PetExpo 2017 India in Gurgaon. The three days of the event from 7th – 9th April 2017 at Kingdom of Dreams in the Delhi-NCR city received an overwhelming response from the attendees, which comprised leading veterinarians, pet industry professionals and animal lovers, who rushed from different parts of the country.

Eminent keynote speakers like Dr Philip R Fox, Dr Gary W Ellison, Dr AP Nambi, Dr KG Umesh and Dr Shiwani Tandel at the event rendered latest knowledge and researches for the upcoming veterinarians in India. A host of around 300 leading vets from India and Nepal were participated in this first endeavour of NVF in the country. As part of the event, there was a 5-km run for a cause on 8th April, participated by veterinarians, pet industry professionals, pet parents and others. There was also a pet industry meet with a focus on promotion of good quality products in India. On all three days of the event, there was a pet health show for pet parents, which highlighted awareness of diabetes and early cardiac diseases in pets.
