The 2nd International Asia Veterinary Conference (IAVC) was held in Hong Kong on 12-14 August 2025. It is a premium platform for veterinary professionals from across the globe to share insights, foster innovation, and set new standards in veterinary medicine. The conference aimed to provide continuous education in the region and a platform for professionals to connect.
The conference was attended by over 2000 delegates from across Asia and the world. The event also provided an excellent platform for vets to explore a wide range of advanced medical equipment at affordable prices at the expo zone.
The Indian contingent was represented by the Veterinary Practitioners’ Welfare Association (VPWA). The title of the talk was “Cancer Care in Companion Animals in India: Emerging Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities” given by Dr. Pradip Chaudhari M.V.Sc., D.M.R.I.T., Ph.D, Scientific Officer ‘H’; Professor and Head – Comparative Oncology Program & Translational Preclinical Imaging and Radiotherapy Facility, Animal Oncology Group, Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre.
