Choupette & Karl Lagerfeld
Legendary German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who recently died at 85 in Paris, was a proud pet parent of a white fluffy Burmese cat named Choupette. The cat is reportedly set to inherit some of the 15 million pound fortune left by the formidable fashion designer. Choupette has been much of an icon in the fashion industry. The feline fellow’s instagram account has 1,20,000 followers. In the book Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Fashion Cat written by Jean-Christophe Napias, Choupette is photographed in the arms of supermodel Linda Evangalista and cuddled by model-tuned actress Laetitia Casta.  Choupette has her own bodyguard and two maids. It has been said that the fortunate feline might be entitled to a multi-million pound fortune under German law if she had been nominated as heir of the late celebrated fashion designer. “She has her own little fortune, she’s an heiress,” Karl once remarked of his beloved cat. His love for Choupette was so deep, as he mentioned that he would marry the blue-eyed Burmese cat if it were legal.
