Royal Canin carries out a series of veterinary conferences

Royal Canin India Pvt Ltd organised a series of veterinary conferences in three metropolitan cities – Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. Dr Didier-Noel Carlotti, an expert in the field of veterinary dermatology, shared his experience on Recent Advances in Canine Dermatology.

His presentation covered in depth the prevalence of Canine Atopic Dermatitis (CAD), which likely represents around 20 percent of dermatology cases in dogs. He explained aetiology (causes) and pathogenesis (mechanism) of CAD during the series of conferences, which also covered the intrinsic and extrinsic factors of the dermatological disorders. Other useful topics in Dr Didier-Noel’s presentation explained about epidemiology of CAD, clinical signs, diagnosis, treatments, etc. The conference was well attended by veterinarians.

A founder member and past-president (1988-2009) of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology (ESVD), Dr Didier-Noel has been the president of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology (WAVD) since first January 2010. He has published 107 papers as first author (and 46 as co-author). He has given all over the world more than 370 lectures in the field of veterinary dermatology.
