We, as humans, are incessantly looking for ways to improve life as we know it. Pets and companion animals are an important part of our lives. Today veterinarians leave no stone unturned to cater to your pets’ needs and educate themselves on how to care better for your pets. One of the ways is continuous education programs and staying up-to-date with the world’s progress in animal healthcare is through attending seminars and lectures planned by World-Wide organisations such as FASAVA- Federation of Asian Small Animal Veterinary Associations. FASAVA has been organising many such events on a monumental scale for the past 15 years all over the world – in Ireland, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and even Japan.

FASAVA Congress in India – a big step for the pet industry

For the very first time in its history, FASAVA is organising such an event in Mumbai, India, from 27th to 29th October, 2023 on a colossal scale. Prominent veterinarians from all around the globe will be coming to India as speakers as well as attendees for this prestigious event. It’s no secret that the field of small animal medicine is constantly evolving and improving. That’s why we at Drools are thrilled to announce that we will be a platinum sponsor for the Federation of Asian Small Animal Veterinary Association (FASAVA) Congress in 2023. This is the first time that an Indian origin company has had the opportunity to be the main sponsor for such a FASAVA Congress – and it’s an obvious choice that Drools stepped forth as a platinum sponsor. In just 12 years, Drools has garnered the trust and faith of millions of people in India and countries across, with our passion towards the betterment of the lifestyle of pets by offering supreme quality food for companion animals and making sure our customers are happy and satisfied.

FASAVA plays a vital role in helping small animal practitioners to provide high-quality care to animals in the Asian region. Its continuing education programs, hands-on training for technicians and assistants, and development of clinical guidelines, all help to ensure that animals receive the best possible care.

In the words of Dr Ramani Jairam, FASAVA Board member, “Bringing the FASAVA 2023 to India is a great achievement for the Pet Practitioners Association of Mumbai (PPAM). PPAM is one of the founding members of FASAVA (Asian Congress). Covid-19 was a setback to all educational activities across the globe. The FASAVA board wanted to restart the program for the professional development of veterinarians in India and across Asia. This event to be organised in Mumbai at Westin, Powai in October will be the crowning glory for all Indian veterinarians. I request each and every veterinarian in India to come and be a part of this momentous occasion. PPAM promises all delegates a world class experience with an Indian flavour.”

A world class event

PPAM President, Dr Dhananjay Bapat, says “It’s an absolute delight and pride to announce FASAVA2023 (Asian Vet Congress) on 27-28-29 October 2023 in Mumbai at Hotel Westin Powai. Treasurer PPAM invited everyone saying “It’s a great pleasure to invite all Veterinarians and Veterinary students across India and Asia to the 11th FASAVA Congress. This will be one of the best learning experiences you will have. PPAM promises you a world class event and hospitality. Join us in great numbers and make this event a great success. Hope to see you at FASAVA Mumbai.”

In the words of Dr Swali Hitesh, Treasurer PPAM, “We at PPAM family, take great pride to invite our fellow vets to the first international FASAVA to be held in India. We also would like to invite international delegates to India and enjoy our hospitality. We thank our sponsors Drools for their unconditional support towards this event. It is a humble request to attend the event and help yourself enhance your knowledge and networking through the Congress.”

Helping vets with enlightening educational programs

One of the ways in which FASAVA helps veterinarians is through its continuing education programs. These programs provide veterinarians with the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and to stay up to date on the latest techniques and technologies. This is vital, as it enables veterinarians to provide the best possible care to their patients and to stay updated in their current field.

But why are we so excited about this sponsorship? For starters, it allows us to show our support to the veterinary community and all the hard work they do to care for animals. It also gives us the opportunity to showcase our high-quality products and demonstrate our commitment to supporting the overall health and well-being of pets.

But more than anything, we are excited about the opportunity to learn and grow alongside our colleagues in the veterinary field. The congress is a chance for us to hear from experts, attend lectures and workshops, and learn about the latest trends and techniques in veterinary medicine. We believe that by staying on the cutting edge of our industry, we can serve the needs of our customers and their beloved pets in a better way.
